Terms of sale

The terms that apply when you buy a Yutrients product from us. UK consumer law applies.

These terms are a working draft pending lawyer review before our public launch. They reflect our locked operating principles. If you have any questions, contact us at our Contact form.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by [FULL REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] (trading as Yutrients), a company registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. Yutrients is a UK supplement brand selling personalised, made-to-order supplement blends. You can reach us any time via our Contact form.

2. These terms

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to every purchase you make from our website. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. We may update them from time to time; the version in force at the moment you order is the one that applies to your order.

3. Ordering

To order, you must be 18 or over, ordering for personal use within the United Kingdom, and you must provide accurate billing and delivery information. Each order is an offer to buy from us; we accept your order when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot accept your order — for example because of stock, payment, or fraud reasons — we will let you know and refund any payment received.

4. Prices and payment

All prices on the website include VAT. VAT is currently charged at 0%, so the price you see is the price you pay — nothing is added at checkout. Prices may change but we will honour the price shown at the moment you placed your order. Payment is taken in full at checkout via Shopify Payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, and PayPal. By placing an order you confirm the payment method is yours and that you authorise the charge.

5. Made-to-order and cancellation

Every Yutrients tin is custom-blended to your specific formula in our UK lab. Because of this:

  • You can cancel your order any time before manufacturing starts. Cancellation isn't self-serve: email us at askdom@yutrients.com (or reply to your order confirmation email) and we'll cancel it. We check the order's status and, if production hasn't started, cancel it with a full refund — depending on your bank, the money can take 5–10 working days to reach your card.
  • Once manufacturing has started (typically a few hours after you order), the order cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded. This is consistent with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exclude personalised goods from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.

Damaged tins, formula errors on our side, and other quality issues are covered separately by our Return Policy — free replacement, no return required.

6. Subscriptions

Subscription tins ship on a rolling cycle aligned to your sign-up date. You can pause, skip, or cancel any time from your account or the Recharge portal. Cancelling a subscription doesn't refund tins that have already shipped — past orders are non-refundable once they've gone into production.

7. Delivery

We ship to UK addresses only. UK delivery is £4.95 on one-off orders and free for subscribers. See our Shipping Info page for full details on timing and tracking. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Your right to a refund or replacement

This section sets out our position. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Pre-production cancellation: full refund when you ask us to cancel and we haven't started making your blend.
  • Damaged in transit: free replacement, see Return Policy.
  • Formula does not match what you ordered (our error): full refund or free replacement, your choice.
  • Item not delivered: investigated with Royal Mail, then re-sent or refunded.
  • Allergic reaction or medical issue: contact us — handled case by case, not as a routine refund.
  • Change of mind after manufacturing has started: no refund, see clause 5.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website or our products for any unlawful purpose. You agree to provide accurate information. You agree not to attempt to access, probe, or interfere with parts of the service not intended for public access.

10. Intellectual property

The Yutrients brand, logo, website design, copy, photography, and proprietary technology (including the formulation safety checks and image analyser) are owned by Yutrients and protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our permission.

11. Disclaimer about supplements

Yutrients products are food supplements, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We make no medical claims about the effects of any ingredient. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on prescription medication, or have a medical condition, consult your GP before starting any supplement. If you experience an adverse reaction, stop taking the product and consult a medical professional. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle; keep out of the reach of young children, and do not exceed the stated daily serving. The information on our website is for general guidance and is not personalised medical advice.

12. Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We exclude liability for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss.
  • Loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity.
  • Loss of data not caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any consumer rights you have under UK statute.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, transport disruptions, pandemics, supplier failure, or government action.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you have non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page is always the current one. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect and do not retrospectively alter an order you have already placed. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be notified by email in advance.

16. Allergens and cross-contamination

Your blend is made in a facility that also handles common allergens (including nuts, peanuts, milk, soya and others). While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any blend is free from traces of allergens handled in the facility. Always check the ingredient and allergen information for each ingredient before ordering, and do not include an ingredient you are allergic to. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us before ordering.

17. Ingredient availability and substitutions

Occasionally an ingredient you have chosen may become unavailable or be removed from our catalogue. We will never silently substitute a different ingredient into your blend. If an ingredient becomes unavailable, we will let you know and either remove it from your formula (with your agreement) or pause the affected order — what goes into your blend is always your choice.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with the policies they refer to (such as our Return Policy and Privacy Policy), form the entire agreement between you and us for your purchase.

19. How to contact us and complaints

Drop us a line via our Contact form. We aim to reply within 1 working day. If you have a complaint, contact us the same way with your order number and we will work with you to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
